I made this little cutie to join the C4C66 crazy 4 challenges. For this i had to copy a sketch. I hope you like my contributions.

Long time without blogging

Well seem to of been so busy not had time to blog or craft. I'm hoping to allow myself time this week to create a card or two.
I have just joined a Yahoo group where i can share my love for magnolia stamps, so need to get creating. Thanks for reading.

such a lot has happened

Its ages since i last wrote on here. And after a lot of thought tears and smiles I have decided to stand down as a stampin up demonstrator and just enjoy my hours crafting with various items.

Inspirin Inkin Challenge





Fancied a bit of inspiration so thought I would have a got at this fortnights inkin challenge.
There is a sketch to copy and I also tried to use al retiring colours.

My card uses the following items:
Card : whisper white, really rust, summer sun and ruby red
Inks summer sun,ruby red, really rust
Stamps Autumn splendour, sab Happy moments and the background stamp Bella toile
I am really pleased with the effect i have got and think I will probably be using the autumn set rather a lot.

Flight of butterfly workshop


Held a workshop last weekend for seven crafting ladies. We made an easel card and a small pizza style box, which held four tealight candles.
The colours we used were:
Inks So saffron, rose red, real red,ruby red
Stamps flight of butterfly and mini tags
Card and dsp in colours to match inks and dsp was from new mini catalogue Sweet pea paper
Accessories, scallop circle punch , mini tag punch and border eyelet punch
Ribbon so saffron
I must just add the both the items are cased from fellow demos ,I forget who but hope they don't mind me sharing their ideas.

Apricot thanks


These two cards are made using a stamping up set that I rarely use. it is called simply said and is available by contacting me.
I have used close to cocoa, barely banana and apricot appeal colous for these cards and have used SU ribbons from my stash.
These cards are Cased from my SU mummy Amanda.Thank you for the inspiration amanda.

Thought I would post a note about my daughters engagement on 1st May.
I was so proud on that day as we had all been through such a lot with losing my dad so close to the party. But we had a brilliant time and I would like to welcome Derryck into our family.

sorry for the lack of blogging


Sadly I have had to cope with an awful lot over the last couple of months.
Firstly my dad had a fall at home which resulted in a hospital ordeal. Sadly dad was unable to fight enough after this terrible fall and sadly passed away on 26th March. I am trying to come to terms with this awful loss and I am trying to get back in to my crafting and back to SU.

Sweet Stampin challenge

Thought I would have a go at this Sweet Stampin challenge as the colours sounded as if they would be fun.
This challenge is #13, needed to include Tempting Turquoise,Cameo Coral,Summer Sun. Real red and i used a bit of Whisper white too.

My card is a Tri fold card so I will show both outside and inside.
I used the On a pedestal set, i know this is going to be one of my firm favourites as well as many others.

challenge for inspiring inkin challenge


I love a challenge, and i had a reason to join this as i neede inspiration for my hubby's valentine card.But in the end i decided maybe its not quite his colour!!too much pink. But still I like the outcome. I hope you do.
The challenge was to use realred,pretty in pink,basic grey and very vanilla.
I used all Stampin'Up! products and all the above colours were included in some form.
Card stock - basic grey, very vanilla, real red and pretty in pink.
Inks - pretty in pink, basic grey, real red
Ribbon -Grosgrain real red
stamps -simply said flower heart for background, lg medallion, vintage labels and love you much
used dimensionals too.

Greenhouse garden


Stampin' Up! supporting the Haiti Disaster fund

From now until 28 February, 2010, £1 from every Greenhouse Garden stamp set you sell (or buy) will be donated to the American Red Cross’ International Response Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

I particularly love this set as it is so versitile.
These are a selection of cards I have made using the set.

During the weekend I held a class where we made valentine gifts.
I used my favourite stamp (at the moment) love you much, this can be purchased via me...
I used all SU cardstock, inks, ribbon and dsp.
The little gem was from my stash.

Thought i would share with my blog readers this gorgeous easel card made for valentines day using the love you much SU set along with all Su cardstock, inks and design papers I have also made this as a contribution to the inspiring inkin challenge #19.It isn't quite like the sketch but I have got a border and wanted to show of my first ever easel card.
